Just in case you want proof
...or didn't read to the end last time and so missed our announcement, here's me. Taken today (Tuesday 3rd March). And there's still four months to go! How big is this baby going to be?

My sister was pregnant with her first baby in Beijing (this would be 11 years ago...), but she wimped out and came back to the States to actually have the baby. Then took baby back to Beijing when baby was six weeks old. I can't wait to read blogs about babies AND Shanghai!! There is so much fodder there!

Thanks! I do wonder occasionally if I'm completely crazy, but the wimping-out option wasn't available to me, unfortunately. (I tried, believe me!). Sadly I suspect the quality of medical care I'll get in Shanghai may far exceed that in certain parts of the UK.... We shall see. Wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the impending motherhood... I'm quite sure Shanghai will be a great place to give birth-- the Chinese certainly have no trouble having babies and Shanghai's modern enough...
